But I don’t think it’s necessary for you to wait for January to find good deals on these items! Some people might be waiting until January because they want to make sure they’re buying “purposeful” items, but that doesn’t mean their purchase won’t be useful in the future if they decide not to use it this month!

Bedding

Outside of Black Friday, January is the best time of year to find deals on bedding. This is because many retailers have what are called white sales around this time where they’re trying to get rid of their inventory. Macy’s, Kohls, and Target sometimes offer discounts of up to 30% – 60% on your favorite bedding, towels, and other comfy home goods. Shop for sheets, bedding, and other home goods now. It’s a great deal!

Winter Clothes

You might be tempted to put off buying warm clothes for your closet, but now’s the time to buy sweaters, scarves & gloves! The prices are usually lower this month so it’s better than waiting until winter is over. The month might not have as many clothing deals as December, but there are still plenty to choose from. As stores start to make room for spring clothes, the winter stuff is being marked down.

You might be thinking that winter clothes on clearance are all coats, but it’s not just coated. As far as Winter apparel that includes finding deals for gloves, socks, scarves, and hats. Check out all the Winter apparel clearance at your favorite clothing store. January is prime time for selling out winter goods for tons of retailers.

January’s end of the football season starts the pickings for great TV deals. So in anticipation of The Super Bowl, many retailers will start sales at the end of this month. If you want a bargain I would do some comparison shopping now because you won’t see prices like this for a while. I would do some online price matching for Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target.

I know you are probably tired of seeing red and green everything. But some of the leftover Christmas decors savings are too good to be true! Watch the Christmas decorations, gifting supplies and candy go for a big discount has retailers want to see them go already! If you are a super saver, there might be some things that were too pricey at first that you can save to decor next Christmas! Also, some items even though is Christmas-themed can still work with the year-round decor in the home.

Most of the savings for Valentine’s day are actually throughout January. Since February 14th will be here before you know it you will see a lot of deals this month. As always the closer you get to the holiday the more savings you will see!

Traveling Luggage

Many people are starting the new year with new traveling goals. You will notice that even after the holiday hustle, the cold weather gets the worst in some states around January to March. Therefore some folks are thinking of warm weather cruises and sandy shores. So if you are looking for some traveling luggage you might be overpaying at the beginning of the year. If you want to grab the best deal, see if you can postpone that trip towards March. March is when a lot of traveling items including trips and tickets are much lower.
